Privacy and private media
Understand who can access your images, how long files remain available, and what to save before a reference or result expires.
Your uploaded sources and generated results are private to your account or temporary guest session. They are not automatically published in the public example gallery, Effects, or Guides.
EzImageAI still needs hosting, storage, safety-checking, and image-generation services to process your request. Private access does not mean the image is processed only on your device. The Privacy Policy explains data processing and analytics in full.
Choose what to upload
Use images you have permission to edit. Avoid including personal or sensitive information that is unnecessary for the result you want. Keep an original copy on your own device.
A selected photo can appear in the editor before its upload has finished. In the signed-in editor, selecting a reference starts the upload automatically. Choosing Generate starts the required checks before the model receives the approved reference.
Content rules apply to prompts, source images, and results. A request may stop with an instruction to change the content or try again later. Read the notice rather than assuming a missing image means the file was never uploaded.
Keep private links private
Viewing and downloading media requires an access check. Image links are temporary, but someone who receives an active private link may be able to use it before it expires.
Do not paste those links into public posts or support messages. To share an image intentionally, download your copy and choose where to publish it. Check the people, rights, and details in the result before sharing.
Save the files you want to keep
| File or draft | Current retention |
|---|---|
| An editor draft retained for recovery | Up to one hour where supported. It may preserve settings without retaining the local image file. |
| A guest-trial result | Within 24 hours of the generation being created; previews remain watermarked. |
| A new temporary reference in the signed-in editor | 24 hours. Select the original file again after it expires. |
| Account library uploads and generated outputs | The current standard retention target is 30 days. Download a separate copy for longer storage. |
Guest results keep their original expiry when linked to an account. Signing in does not turn them into permanent files. Failed-job media has a shorter cleanup period.
An expired reference cannot be used for another generation or downloaded through a new access link. Its generated result can remain available under its own retention period, although the before-and-after comparison may no longer have the original image.
Storage cleanup can happen after an access deadline. Billing, security, and backup records can have different retention periods. Use the Privacy Policy or contact support for a data-retention or deletion request.
Resume work without assuming it is backed up
A restored prompt and model selection are useful recovery aids, not a backup of the source file. If the editor asks you to choose the image again, select the original before generating. Reopening a saved result does not create another image or spend generation credits.
Use the quick start for draft recovery and image editing for History and Edit again.
Get help or report content
Contact support for an access or deletion request. Include a task or order reference and a description of the problem; do not send passwords or active private image links.
Use Report content for impersonation, rights violations, or prohibited content. You can report without an account. Do not send copies of suspected illegal content. The Terms of Service explain the content policy and appeals.
